Asian Meatballs are one of my favorite ways to shake up a weeknight dinner. They’re packed with bold flavors, thanks to the Chinese five-spice, fresh ginger, and garlic, and they come together in no time. Baked until golden and juicy, these meatballs are served over saucy rice noodles for a meal that feels a little different from the usual but is just as easy to make.

The sauce brings everything together—it’s savory, slightly sweet, with just the right amount of tang from lime juice and umami depth from fish sauce. How To Make Asian Meatballs

Meatballs are very easy to make, and these are no different! Just a couple of ingredients make up the meatballs, and while they cook the noodles come together. So you have dinner ready in just minutes.

  • Prepare the meatball mixture – In a bowl, mix ground pork with Chinese five-spice, minced garlic, and grated ginger until evenly combined.
  • Shape and bake the meatballs – Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs, place them on a baking sheet, and bake at 400°F for 15–20 minutes until fully cooked.
  • Cook the rice noodles – Follow the package instructions to cook the noodles, then drain and set aside.
  • Make the sauce – Whisk together soy sauce, water, lime juice, brown sugar, fish sauce, chili garlic sauce, and olive oil in a small bowl.
  • Heat the sauce – Pour the sauce into a saucepan and warm it over low heat for a few minutes to blend the flavors.
  • Toss noodles with sauce – Add the cooked noodles to the saucepan and stir to coat them evenly with the sauce.
  • Assemble the dish – Serve the noodles topped with a few meatballs, then garnish with sliced green onions and cilantro.
